The SNS team will conduct workshops with the Client’s staff for the purpose of educating them about the security mandates of HIPAA.  Participants will be asked to identify and examine security requirements as they pertain to the business and workflow of the Client.  Security requirements outline the qualities of information assets that are important to an organization. Our approach requires that personnel consider the following security requirements for each important asset:

• Confidentiality - the need to keep proprietary, sensitive, or personal information private and inaccessible to anyone who is not authorized to see it
• Integrity - the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of an asset
• Availability - when or how often an asset must be present or ready for use
